About Dr. Partridge
Dr. Helen Partridge is a board-certified psychiatrist with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Her clinical career has been dedicated to geriatric psychiatry, with a focus on helping older adults navigate the emotional, behavioral and cognitive challenging that accompany aging and medical illness.
Education and Training
Dr. Partridge attended the University of St Andrews in Scotland, UK for her Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree in Biochemistry. She attended medical school and psychiatry residency training at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed additional training in geriatric psychiatry during residency.
Previous Hospital Affiliations
Following residency, Dr. Partridge worked as an outpatient attending psychiatrist at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ where her clinical and teaching responsibilities primarily focused on geriatric psychiatry. Dr. Partridge transitioned to private practice in 2026 with a goal of providing high-quality, patient centered care prioritizing emotional well-being of aging adults.

Clinical Services
Dr. Partridge provides empathetic psychiatric and medical evaluation to ensure accurate diagnosis, treatment planning including careful medication management (new prescriptions and/or therapeutic medication simplification), psychotherapy interventions for older adults. She collaborates closely with supports and other medical providers.
Follow-up appointments allow for treatment monitoring and adjustments. When clinically appropriate, they can be conducted via a HIPAA compliant telepsychiatry service.
*Duration of follow-up appointments varies depending on medical/psychiatric and treatment plan complexity and will be determined in collaboration with Dr. Partridge.
25 minutes, In-person or virtual
Dr. Partridge will monitor for treatment response and make careful adjustments to the treatment plan accordingly.
50 minutes, In-person or virtual
Sometimes longer follow-up appointments are needed to allow for complex decision making or care coordination. During these appointments, Dr. Partridge will monitor for treatment response, gather collateral from supports and make careful adjustments to the treatment plan accordingly.
75-90 minutes, In-person only
During this initial appointment, Dr. Partridge will conduct a comprehensive psychiatric and medical evaluation to establish diagnosis and collaboratively develop an individualized treatment plan. In addition, it may be helpful for Dr. Partridge to gather information from your supports and other medical providers.

Appointment duration is based on medical/psychiatric complexity. Dr. Partridge will discuss recommend follow-up appointment time and frequency with you following your initial meeting.

Dr. Partridge is an out of network psychiatrist and does not participate in any insurance panels (including Medicaid and Medicare). All services are self-pay.
Per Medicare regulations, Medicare beneficiaries may not submit claims for reimbursement and must sign a private contract with their physician.
If you are not enrolled in Medicare and have private insurance, your insurance may provide “out of network” benefits for mental health care. Dr. Partridge can provide you with an invoice (or “superbill”) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

Appointments missed or cancelled with less than 24 hour notice will be charged the full fee for the session.
